Replacement process

Safety notice - Masks containing magnets from Resmed

Biron intends to provide, free of charge, a replacement solution in accordance with the established standards to those who have purchased one between January 1st, 2020 and November 21, 2023 (limit of one replacement per person). Alternatives may include replacing the mask with a non-magnetic alternative from the manufacturer Resmed.

Individuals covered by the safety notice who purchased their masks prior to the no-cost replacement period will be required to take corrective action to protect their health and replace their masks at their own expense, as recommended by the manufacturer.

How to request a replacement

  1. Check your eligibility.
    1. The mask must be one of the affected masks.
    2. Individuals must be affected by the recall (have a contraindication to use a mask with magnet).
    3. Proof of your medical condition may be required upon registration.
  2. Check the date of your purchase.
    1. Individuals who purchased an affected mask between January 1st, 2020 and November 21st, 2023 will be eligible for a replacement at no-cost (see Covered Masks).
  3. Contact us to obtain your discount code.
    1. Via the chat tool at cpap.biron.com Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    2. By phone at 1 833 590-2715, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  4. Apply your discount code during the validity period you have been given:
    1. On the online store at the time of payment. If you are having difficulties with your transaction, use the chat tool.
    2. If you are unable to place your order online, please contact us at 1-833-590-2715 and we will complete the purchase over the phone with you.
